Is money earned from design considered unlawful if the operating system (Windows) used is not genuine?

The ruling on using pirated software is a matter of scholarly disagreement, and the fatwa adopted by us is that it is impermissible. However, this impermissibility does not extend to the money earned from designs created with this software. A person is blameworthy Islamically for infringing on rights, but their earnings from selling designs are lawful if the designs themselves are permissible, as these earnings are in exchange for their effort and work in a permissible matter.
