To what extent are the two hadiths regarding the recitation of Surat Al-Kahf authentic, and is its recitation before Friday prayer reported from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?

The hadith "Whoever recites the beginning of Surat al-Kahf... between the earth and the heaven" was deemed weak by Shu'ayb al-Arna'ut, while the other hadith "Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf... between the two Fridays" was authenticated by Al-Albani. The time for reciting the surah is on the night of Friday or during its day.
