Is it obligatory to fulfill a vow of fasting two consecutive years after committing masturbation and smoking, knowing that the vow was made five days after abstaining from these actions?

The ruling on it is that theower has the choice between fulfilling the vow or atoning for it with an expiation for breaking an oath (kaffarat yamin).
