Does a mother have the right to withhold her daughters' inheritance and claim their disobedience when they demand it, and what should the two daughters do to obtain their right?

It is not permissible for a mother to deprive her children of their share of the inheritance, and their demanding it is not an act of disobedience (aqūq). It is permissible to take the matter to court to compel her to pay their share, and this would not be considered an act of disobedience. Nevertheless, one must show piety towards the mother, be kind to her, and fulfill all her rights, even if she falls short in fulfilling her children's rights.
