Are artworks made from animal bones forbidden?

If the bones are from an animal slaughtered according to Islamic law, there is no objection to using them in artistic works, as long as they are not used for prohibited statues. As for the bones of a dead animal, the preponderant opinion is that it is permissible to benefit from them after tanning.
