What is the expiation for one who has stolen from him and gone to sorcerers?

There is no specific expiation prescribed in Islamic law for someone who has approached a soothsayer or diviner. However, what is obligatory upon them is sincere repentance, which includes regretting the sin, refraining from it, and resolving not to return to it. It is recommended to turn to Allah Almighty, humble oneself, and supplicate Him. Among these supplications, upon experiencing a misfortune, one may say: "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, reward me for my affliction and compensate me with something better than it."
