Does the maternal uncle inherit along with the daughters of his deceased sister who left no male offspring?

The maternal uncle is neither an Ashab al-Furud (legatee of a fixed share) nor an 'Asabah (agnate heir). He is from the Dhawu al-Arham (relatives by blood, but not agnates or sharers), but he does not inherit in this case due to the presence of Ashab al-Furud, who are the daughters. Dhawu al-Arham do not inherit unless there is no Ashab al-Furud or 'Asabah, with the exception of the spouses.
