Is it permissible to take back a wife who embraced Islam, then apostatized and was divorced, then returned to Islam and wishes to come back after a month from the divorce?

If a husband divorces his wife after her apostasy, and the apostate returns to Islam within her waiting period (iddah), the divorce is considered valid, and the marital bond between them remains based on the original marriage. The husband is permitted to take her back without a new marriage contract.
