The answer

Interpreting the Quran through scientific theories is a dangerous matter, for if new, contradictory theories emerge, the Quran might appear incorrect to the enemies of Islam. The Quran was revealed for worship, morals, and contemplation, not for matters understood through experiments. Allah Almighty said: "A Book We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its verses, and that men of understanding may remember." And it warns against interpreting verses such as "O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except with authority [from Allah]" with what happened with the moon landing, for this is a false interpretation of the verse.
