Is it permissible to pay a sum of money to individuals to regularize the status of a truck that the questioner bought from Europe, knowing that these individuals will pay bribes to finalize the transactions?

Bribery is forbidden, and its perpetrator is cursed. It is the illicit gain mentioned in the Quran. However, if a person is forced to pay money to obtain their right, or to ward off injustice or harm from themselves, then it is permissible, and the sin falls upon the recipient of the bribe, not the one who gives it. Ibn Mas'ud did this, and a group of the Tabi'un permitted it.
