What is the ruling on wearing the hijab while continuously thinking about someone, knowing that thoughts of him are ceaseless and marriage is not currently possible due to customs and traditions?

The believing woman must wear the legal hijab, and it is impermissible to establish a relationship with a foreign man, even if the intention is marriage, due to the unlawful consequences that result from it. If love occurs in the heart without any unlawful action, there is no blame, but caution must be exercised, and paths to temptation must be avoided. If the relationship already exists, it must be severed immediately, as it leads to destruction. The solution to this problem is to cut ties with the person; if he is righteous, he can propose marriage in a lawful manner. Wearing the hijab is an obligation in itself and has no relation to this problem, and one should not combine one sin with another. It is advised to fill one's time with good deeds, seeking knowledge, and beneficial companionship, and to abandon everything that incites desire. And to rely on Allah and supplicate to Him to keep the heart steadfast in obedience and faith.
