Does the reward for Umrah diminish due to a weakening of religious commitment after performing it?

One must hasten to repentance. The reward for 'Umrah (definition) is a matter of the unseen, its knowledge is with Allah. Therefore, a believer should perform good deeds with sincerity for Allah and in accordance with the Prophet's (peace be upon him) Sunnah (definition), then have good expectations of Allah regarding acceptance and reward. For Allah does not allow the work of any worker to be lost. Allah Almighty says: "So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it." The reward for good deeds is nullified only by death upon apostasy. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever of you reverts from his religion and dies while he is a disbeliever - then those have become worthless [all] their deeds in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally." Some scholars are of the view that evil deeds can nullify good deeds. Therefore, a Muslim must preserve his good deeds by avoiding sins and repenting if he falters.
