What is the ruling on men using a silver keychain or women using a gold keychain?

We have previously explained the impermissibility for a man to use a silver key holder. Here, we add that it is also impermissible for a woman to use a gold chain or key holder, due to the extravagance and pride it entails, and the breaking of the hearts of the poor. The same ruling applies to all implements such as inkwells, pens, snuffboxes, lamps, incense burners, chimneys, and even kohl applicators and the like.
