Is what the questioner is suffering from—namely, the hostility and aversion of those around her, including her mother, her husband's family, and her colleagues—a tribulation from Allah, and how does this reconcile with the Hadith: "When Allah loves a servant, He makes His creation love him, and when He hates a servant, He makes His creation hate him"?

You must be gentle with your mother and treat her kindly, and deal with your family, in-laws, and colleagues with goodness, and respond to their ill-treatment with kindness. Allah Almighty says: "And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that which is better, and suddenly he to whom you had enmity will become as though he were a devoted friend." You must also be patient and steadfast in performing acts of obedience and reciting the morning and evening remembrances.
