Is it permissible to create a graduation guestbook that contains only the name without a picture, knowing that it will be placed in a public area where anyone can write in it, and could this be a cause for fitna (temptation/strife)?

It prohibits mixing and softening of speech, based on the Almighty's saying: (And let them not strike their feet so as to make known what they conceal of their adornment). Therefore, a girl who fears Allah does not do that, and contents herself with her close female friends.
