A husband's mere weakness in expressing his emotional feelings does not justify seeking a divorce, because a woman is forbidden from asking for it without justification, and she is severely warned against it. In the : "Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without any [justifiable] cause, the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her." Scholars have interpreted "without any [justifiable] cause" as meaning without hardship or harm that would justify it. Therefore, the wife should fear Allah and live with her husband in kindness.
