Is it permissible to supplicate for guidance for a non-Muslim female friend who has homosexual tendencies, and should the relationship with her be severed?

There is no harm in supplicating for guidance for those who do not fight Muslims, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, supplicated for the guidance of the disbelievers. Nevertheless, a Muslim should be keen to associate with the righteous and avoid mixing with others, because a person is influenced by their companion. Therefore, we advise limiting interaction with this girl while being keen to invite her [to Islam], and seeking the company of righteous believing women.
