Is the prayer of a 19-year-old, who has not memorized the Book of Allah and is wearing jeans, permissible directly behind the Imam?

It is permissible for you to pray directly behind the Imam or in one of the three places behind him, even if you have not memorized the Qur’an, for a nineteen-year-old has reached the age of men. It is desirable that those closest to the Imam be people of virtue, based on the hadith: "Let those of you who are mature and discerning be near me."
