Is it possible to enter Paradise without suffering torment in the grave and the Hereafter, despite having committed past sins and desiring to repent?

Allah, the Most Glorified and Exalted, loves those who repent and rejoices in their repentance. He forgives their sins, no matter how great, and transforms their evil deeds into good ones. Therefore, a servant should have a good opinion of Allah and hasten to sincere repentance before it is too late. The truly repentant person is saved from the torment of the grave and the Hereafter, because repentance prevents punishment. The texts and scholarly consensus indicate that repentance is a barrier against the fulfillment of a threat of punishment.

The greatest path to salvation is to realize the Oneness of Allah, believe in Him, fear Him, perform the obligatory duties, and avoid sins. Whoever does so will not enter Hellfire. The أهل السنة (Ahl al-Sunnah) are in agreement that whoever dies upon faith will enter Paradise. If they were repentant or free from sins, they will enter Paradise by the mercy of their Lord and be forbidden from the Fire.
