Is the meaning of the verse: "Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds—for those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged in the least," that the repentant will enter Paradise without punishment, or will they be punished then enter it?

The noble verse: {Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds} is an exception to the verse: {But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued lusts; so they are going to meet Ghayyā (a valley in Hell)}. This means that Allah accepts the repentance of those who turn away from neglecting prayers and pursuing lusts, and He will make their end good and admit them into Paradise. Sincere repentance erases what came before it, and "The one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin." These repentant individuals will not be punished in this world or the Hereafter for their previous sins; rather, they will enter Paradise without punishment.
