If it is highly probable that seven circuits () have been completed, then the tawaf is valid, and there is nothing upon either of you. However, if there is doubt about the number of circuits, then the tawaf is not sufficient according to the majority of scholars. According to the Hanafis, the tawaf is considered valid, but each of you must offer a sacrifice (dam). This dam is to be slaughtered in Mecca and distributed among the poor of the , and by doing so, the becomes valid and sufficient.
