Is it permissible to supplicate with "May Allah open unto us the victories of those who know Him" knowing that "the knower" (al-ʿārif) is associated with Sufism?

Knowledge of Allah is one of the greatest purposes for the sending of messengers, and it entails monotheism, worshipping Him, and knowing Him through His names and attributes. The title "Arif Billah" (Knower of Allah) is not problematic in its origin and was used by scholars. However, it is better to abandon it now because it has become a slogan for some deviant shaykhs of Sufi orders who have strayed from the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. It is sufficient for a Muslim to supplicate with "My Lord, increase me in knowledge" or "O Allah, teach me that which will benefit me."
