Is an ordinary romantic dream, accompanied by feelings of happiness and the euphoria of love and admiration, considered a wet dream, and is it permissible to suffice with ablution and prayer upon waking, given the presence of normal white discharge, without performing ghusl?

Mere joy and happiness from what a sleeping woman sees does not necessitate ghusl (definition) (ritual bath). Even a wet dream does not necessitate it unless there is an emission, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Yes, if she sees water [fluid]."

What a woman finds of discharge after waking up necessitates ghusl and repeating prayers if it possesses the characteristics of maniy (seminal fluid). If it does not possess these characteristics, then ghusl is not obligatory. If there is doubt between maniy and madhiy (pre-seminal fluid), the woman has the choice to consider it maniy and perform ghusl, or madhiy and wash the affected area and perform ablution for prayer.
