Is it permissible to use the returns from money deposited in a bank to pay apartment rent, if there is no other financial resource available?

It is impermissible for a Muslim to benefit from usurious bank profits because they are illicit wealth. A single dirham of usury is more severe in the sight of Allah than thirty acts of fornication. A Muslim must repent from usury, take back only their principal capital, and dispose of the profits by returning them to their owner if possible. Otherwise, these profits should be used for the benefit of the poor, the needy, and public interests. It is not permissible for him to benefit from them by using them to pay rent or for any other personal use.
