Is it permissible to combine two supplications (dhikr) that were individually reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) at one time, such as the opening supplication (du'a al-istiftah) with two different wordings in a single prayer?

Among the people of knowledge, some prefer to combine the reported supplications, such as the opening supplication (du'a al-istiftah), while others advocate for diversifying between the different narrations received concerning it. The latter, diversification, is more preferable as it emulates the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. As for combining the narrations in one instance, there are two views among scholars, and the safer approach is to stick to what has been reported.
