Proponents of "New Age" promote the term "cosmic energy" as a great energy created by God in the universe that affects our lives and health, dividing it into positive and negative. This energy is not recognized by physicists or Islamic scholars; it belongs to the beliefs of Eastern religions that have been given a scientific veneer. The claim that cats repel waves of hatred and envy or protect from the penetration of the energetic field is a false belief that compromises faith, based on the superstitions of infidel religions, and resembles hanging amulets to ward off the evil eye and calamities, which is forbidden by Islamic law and considered polytheism (shirk).
