Is a person sinful if they answer "yes" to the question: "Do not cats bring blessings into homes?" based on the false information that they are a reason for angels to enter, and what should one do concerning those who heard this answer?

There is nothing in Islamic law to indicate that cats are blessed, or a cause for the descent of blessings, or the presence of angels. Whoever claims that without evidence has spoken about Allah that which he has no knowledge of. What is authentically reported in Islamic law is the purity of cats and that they are among those who frequently circulate among us. Speaking about religion without knowledge is Islamically forbidden.
