What is the authenticity of the story about people demanding Umar ibn Al-Khattab to set a price for meat, and his reply to them: "Make it cheap yourselves," then "Leave it for them"?

After research, the attribution of the narration "Indeed, meat has become expensive. So, make it cheap," to Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) has not been found. Rather, in Tarikh Dimashq, Al-Bidayah wa Al-Nihayah, and Al-Hilyah, it is attributed to Ibrahim ibn Adham, who, when told about it, said: "Do not buy it."
