Does camel liver invalidate ablution?

The hashy (young camel) is a small camel. The Hanbalis held the view that eating camel meat nullifies wudu' (ablution), and this is the preponderant opinion. They differed concerning other parts of the camel, such as the liver. The relied-upon view in the madhhab (definition) (school of thought) is that nothing other than meat nullifies wudu'; therefore, eating liver does not nullify it. The second view in the madhhab is that eating liver nullifies wudu' just like meat. This is the view preferred by the esteemed scholar Al-Uthaymin, who argued that "meat" in the language of the Shari'ah (Islamic law) encompasses all parts, and that there is no difference between lean meat and other parts because all are nourished by the same blood and food. He also stated that this approach prevents doubts. It was narrated from Usaid ibn Hudair that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Perform ablution after drinking camel milk." If the Sunnah (definition) indicates performing ablution after drinking camel milk, then these parts, which are inseparable from the animal, are even more deserving of this ruling. Thus, the correct view is that eating camel meat absolutely nullifies wudu', whether it is lean meat or otherwise. As a precaution, one should perform ablution after eating camel liver.
