If the mother is sane and of sound judgment, she is permitted to dispose of her wealth through gifting. She may gift her son whatever she wishes. However, if the wealth exceeds one-third, then according to some scholars, she must seek her husband's permission. If your mother has children other than you, she must gift them the same amount she gifted you.
