Did the Prophet Muhammad attempt suicide after the death of a monk, and exceed the marital limits by marrying more than four wives?

The claim that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, attempted suicide upon the death of a monk is false, for Islamic law prohibits taking one's own life, and he was the most pious of people and the most knowledgeable of God. As for his marriage to more than four women, it was a special dispensation granted to him by God, just as He granted it to David and Solomon, peace be upon them.
