What is the ruling on the marriage of a Hindu woman who embraced Islam to her maternal uncle, who also embraced Islam, given that they have children and are experiencing difficult financial circumstances?

The rulings concerning the marriages of disbelievers are based on the premise that they are valid marriages and not considered fornication. Their marriages are referred back to their customs; whatever they consider a valid marriage among themselves, their continuance upon it is permissible. A condition for their continuance upon such marriages if they embrace Islam is that the wife must be someone whom the husband is permitted to marry. Thus, a maidservant cannot remain married to her disbelieving husband if she embraces Islam, if she is a mahram to him, regardless of whether he embraces Islam or not. As for the children, they are attributed to him in lineage.
