What advice helps a student benefit from his studies at the College of Hadith at the Islamic University of Madinah?

The young man whom Allah has guided is advised to praise and thank Allah, and to supplicate that this guidance be an aid to his obedience. He should fear Allah and strive diligently in his studies and in acquiring knowledge. He should also associate with the righteous, attend the gatherings of scholars, and avoid slandering people.
