Does missing Fajr prayer mean that a Muslim is not under Allah's protection for that day?
If you have taken the necessary means to wake up for Fajr prayer but sleep overwhelms you, then you must pray it when you wake up. There is no sin upon you, and Allah will record its reward for you, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever sleeps through his portion [of recitation] or a part of it, and then recites it between the Fajr prayer and the Dhuhr prayer, it will be recorded for him as if he had recited it during the night." Furthermore, a person's intention is more potent than his action, and whoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, a full good deed is written for him. So, whoever safeguards Allah's command, Allah will safeguard him.
