Is it true what was reported on the authority of Ibn al-Qayyim in "Al-Da' wa al-Dawa'" that Allah's Khalil (friend) Ibrahim (peace be upon him) used to visit Lady Hagar every day from Sham on Al-Buraq due to his ardent love for her?

The narration that Abraham, peace be upon him, used to visit Hagar daily on the Buraq is very weak in its chain of transmission because it contains al-Waqidi, who is a very weak narrator of hadith. This narration has also been transmitted through other weak chains, some of which were pointed out by Ibn Hajar, and among them is the narration attributed to Abu Hurairah (mawquf) that Abraham used to visit Ishmael on the Buraq. This latter narration is likely something he heard from the reports of the People of the Book, whose truthfulness or falsehood cannot be definitively ascertained.
