What is the ruling on returning to study in a place where one swore not to study after experiencing a frightening incident?

Breaking an oath (al-ḥinth) is permissible with expiation (kaffārah) if the swearer deems it better, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "If one of you takes an oath and then sees something better than it, let him expiate it and do what is better." The expiation for an oath is: feeding ten needy persons, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. If one cannot find any of these, then fasting for three days, as stated by Allah Almighty: "Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He will impose blame upon you for what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [such means] - then a fast of three days. That is the expiation for your oaths when you have sworn. And guard your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be grateful."
