What is the expiation for one who breaks an oath, being a student who owns no money, and has the oath ended or must he complete the period and refrain from what he swore about, and what are the consequences if he breaks the oath again within the same period?

Whoever breaks an oath must offer an expiation for it, which is feeding ten poor persons, or clothing them, or emancipating a slave. And whoever cannot find [the means] thereto, then [he must] fast for three days. The expiation does not become repeated by the repetition of the act, unless the one who broke the oath intended to repeat the breaking, or the wording of the oath necessitated repetition.
