Is another expiation obligatory for one who swore an oath and broke it, then fasted two days of the first oath's expiation, and during the second day of fasting, swore another oath and broke it, and did not complete the fasting for the first expiation?

Expiation (kaffarah) becomes obligatory upon breaking an oath. Fasting is not prescribed for the expiation of an oath except for one who is unable to feed or clothe [the needy] or emancipate a slave. If the matter sworn upon is multiple, then an expiation is due for each oath. However, if it is a single matter, then one expiation suffices. It is not permissible to offer the expiation or a part of it before breaking the oath.
