How is the killing of the youth by the jinn in the city explained, even though Satan has no authority over God's believing servants, as stated in His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, over My servants you have no authority; and sufficient is your Lord as Disposer of affairs," and did any of the predecessors speak about this incident despite the youth's righteousness and jihad?

The hadith narrates the story of a newlywed young man who was killed by a jinn in the form of a snake after the young man had killed it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, advised giving the jinn present in houses a three-day respite before killing them. If the jinn does not leave after the warning, then it is a devil. Al-Nawawi explains that if the jinn does not depart after the warning, it is a devil and has no sanctity. Ibn Taymiyyah clarifies that harm from jinn to humans may be a reaction to harm from humans (such as pouring hot water or killing), or it may be mischief, and that this harm does not occur except with Allah's permission.
