What is the ruling on consuming or using hallucinogenic honey, and does it fall under prohibition?

Hallucinogenic honey is produced by bees that feed on the pollen of poisonous rhododendron flowers. Its chemical components cause hallucinations and slow the heart rate.

If the amount consumed does no harm, then there is no objection to it, for the basic principle regarding things is permissibility. What Allah has made lawful in His Book is lawful, and what He has remained silent about is pardoned.

It is permissible to consume something that contains both benefit and harm if the benefit outweighs the harm. However, if it contains only harm, or if its harm outweighs its benefit, then it is forbidden.
