To what extent is the understanding correct that reciting Ayat al-Kursi after every prayer guarantees entry into Paradise immediately after death, or is there punishment for sins before entering Paradise, as mentioned by a Sharia student?

The Hadith about Ayat al-Kursi after prayers is Hasan (good), and it has been authenticated by Ibn Hibban, al-Mundhiri, Ibn Abd al-Hadi, and Ibn Kathir, indicating a great virtue. What was mentioned about negating the effect of reciting Ayat al-Kursi after prayers is a clear error, for several reasons:

1. His statement that every Muslim will be tormented by fire contradicts the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah that whoever's good deeds outweigh their bad deeds will enter Paradise, and whoever's bad deeds outweigh their good deeds among the people of Tawhid (monotheism) is under Allah's will. 2. Restricting Allah's mercy and claiming that those who perform acts of obedience and those who do not are equal, which is negated by Allah's saying: {Or do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds - [that] their life and their death are equal? Evil is that which they judge.}. 3. Denying the effect of reciting Ayat al-Kursi is a denial of what Allah has made a means for attaining His mercy, and taking means is an obligation both religiously and rationally.

It must be noted that the attainment of these virtues depends on the presence of the conducive factors and the absence of impediments. Therefore, it is not permissible to neglect acts of obedience or audacious acts of sin under the pretext of reciting Ayat al-Kursi.
