How can I help my parents become more religious and closer to Allah?

Secondly: The optimal ways to make parents more committed and closer to Allah are: 1. Supplicating for their guidance and righteousness, for supplication is the key to relief. 2. Prioritizing acts of righteousness and kindness before offering advice, as hearts are naturally inclined to love those who are kind to them. 3. Being gentle in advice and enduring harm, and addressing them with kind phrases, like Ibrahim's saying to his father, "O my father!" 4. Seeking help from those whose advice might influence them, such as righteous friends or the mosque's Imam. 5. Utilizing suitable situations and events for inviting them to goodness, such as the death of a relative or an accident. 6. Placing religious booklets, pamphlets, and tapes within their reach without directly asking them to read or listen. 7. Traveling with them or inviting them to perform Hajj or Umrah (definition), as witnessing the sacred sites softens hearts.

Thirdly: Guidance is solely in the hands of Allah, the Most High. The human's role is to invite and guide to good, not to guide hearts, for Allah guides whom He wills.
