The written name of Allah or of the Prophets, whether in Arabic or another language, must be respected and preserved if it is intended to be the name of Allah. Otherwise, it does not take the ruling of the name of Allah. Some scholars have gone further to say that all written letters must be respected. It is not obligatory to inspect all written materials to ensure they are free of Allah's name, as this would cause hardship and difficulty, and the religion is easy.
