What is the ruling on using Windows on a computer without purchasing a license?

It is not permissible to install and use the Windows program without purchasing a license, and it must be removed if it has been installed without one. It is permissible to install it on more than one device if the producing company does not prohibit it. It is not permissible to use unlicensed copies, as this infringes upon the rights of others. Although some scholars permit it for personal need and inability to purchase, or after the company has covered its costs, the more cautious approach is to refrain from it absolutely.
