How can a mother and her son be guided to deal with a wife who misbehaves and utters inappropriate words, especially after the wife insulted and cursed her in front of relatives?

It is recommended to guide and advise the wife gently, even indirectly, on the obligation of obeying and respecting her husband, and that pleasing the husband's mother is pleasing to the husband. She should be reminded that cursing and insulting are not among the manners of a Muslim, and that arrogance is one of the major sins that prevents entry into Paradise. If advice does not work, the husband should rebuke and deter her. The mother is also advised to be patient and handle the matter calmly.
