Is the fast of one who intended to fast before sleeping, then had intercourse with his wife after the intention, then bathed and slept and did not wake up for suhoor, valid or not, knowing that the intercourse took place in the early part of the night?

Sexual intercourse is permissible for a fasting person at night, whether the fast is voluntary or obligatory, based on the generality of Allah Almighty's saying: "So now have sexual relations with them and seek what Allah has ordained for you, and eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the night." No scholar has ever stated that sexual intercourse at night contradicts or invalidates the intention to fast. Rather, a voluntary fast is valid for one who ate, drank, or had sexual intercourse at night and then intended to fast in the morning, according to the preponderant opinion of scholars.
