What is the ruling on folk dancing for an adult girl at celebrations—in the presence of her family—with her adult male cousins (sons of her maternal aunt or paternal aunt) without physical contact, given that they have treated each other like siblings since childhood?

A woman dancing in front of non-mahram men is a cause of evil and a means to fitna (temptation). It is forbidden even if it is free of musical instruments. How then can she be allowed to dance in front of those who are not permitted to look at her, when she has been forbidden from striking her feet [on the ground] so that her hidden adornment may not be known? The claim that they treat each other like siblings is a deception from Satan. A woman must fear Allah and refrain from this act, which often involves the unveiling of awrah (private parts), listening to musical instruments, and forbidden entertainment.
