What is the ruling on watching programs and skipping sections that contain music with the aim of increasing viewership and attracting advertisers?

First: It is not permissible to allow advertisements that contain reprehensible elements such as music and images of women, or advertisements for forbidden activities such as usurious banks and alcoholic beverages.

Second: Artificially increasing the number of views is considered cheating and deception towards advertisers, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." This act also makes the doer appear in a false light, claiming to possess something they do not have, which is blameworthy in Islamic law. A Muslim should be truthful and treat people as they would like to be treated.
