Does a pilgrim remain in the state of Ihram if they throw the Jamrat al-Aqaba before midnight, considering that throwing the stone is a condition for ending the state of Ihram? Is the pilgrim considered to have undergone only a minor release from Ihram despite not throwing at the correct time, even if they offer a blood sacrifice (slaughtering a sheep in the Haram)? Does the condition for Ihram release only depend on throwing the Jamrat al-Aqaba?
Whoever leaves throwing the Jamrah of Aqabah must offer a sacrifice in Mecca and distribute it among the poor of the . There is a disagreement among scholars regarding the issue of Tahallul (ending the state of ) - some see that Tahallul occurs when the time for stoning passes, while others see it depends on the sacrifice. It is more prudent for one's conscience not to perform the second Tahallul until the blood is poured or fasts ten days if incapable. The first Tahallul is achieved by performing two of the following three acts: and shaving (or shortening the hair), and then if the time for stoning passes, the second Tahallul is achieved with the obligation of the sacrifice.
