What is the distribution of inheritance for a deceased person who left behind 9 sons, 3 daughters, a wife, a full sister, a half-sister through the father, two uterine brothers, and is in debt?

The deceased's estate is first divided by settling their debts, and then the remainder is distributed among the heirs. In this case, the heirs are the wife and the children, both male and female. The siblings do not inherit due to the presence of children. The wife receives one-eighth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, as Allah Almighty says: "But if you have a child, then for them [the wives] is one eighth of what you leave." What remains is divided among the sons and daughters, with the male receiving the equivalent of the share of two females, as Allah Almighty says: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." It is advisable to refer matters of inheritance to the Sharia courts to ensure investigation and inquiry into any wills, debts, or other rights that the heirs may not be aware of.
